Welcome to the Gideon Film Festival, one of the most inventive and forward-thinking festivals created for Christian filmmakers. There are no red carpets, and the dress is casual. We sit around bonfires, wishing someone had brought the makings for S’mores. We decompress and encourage each other, and we’re not surprised when someone busts out in spontaneous prayer. There is no pretense here; there are no egos.
